Executive Summary
This portfolio will explore several academic highlights from my time at the University of Florida.
Within the Introduction, the About Me page begins with an in depth description of me, my interests, as well as the activities I engaged in during my time at the University of Florida. Additionally, this section contains a tab that links to my most up-to-date resume. My professional philosophy is also included in this section. This is a written expression of my thoughts on health education.

The Academics section highlights three of my health education course projects. The first project presented to readers is the Empower You(th) health promotion project completed for HSC4713 Planning and Evaluating Health Education Programs The second project presented to readers is a graduate-level research project for HSC5138 Human Sexuality Education, which compared and contrasted sexuality in India and the United States. The final project presented to readers is a blog on Multiple Sclerosis from HSC4233 Patient Health Education. Each project was completed during my final two years in the Health Education and Behavior major. I am very proud of these projects. They all influenced my view of health education and demonstrated the potential positive impact of health education programs.

The Professional Experience section focuses on the practical applications of my experience. It includes my professional positions, including serving as an Aging Life Care Manger at All About Aging and my Health Education Internship experience at the Center for Independent Living of North Central Florida. This section features highlights from my internship, including community outreach events, as well as presentations I designed and presented to Independent Living Skills courses. Collectively, the experiences I engaged in at my internship site provided me the opportunity to move out of my comfort zone, test my ability to educate diverse populations, and extend my reach to populations in need, while affording me the opportunity to give back to the Alachua County community.

The Extracurricular Activities section features four of my most involved volunteer experiences. The first highlighted experience is with the Alpha Lambda Chapter of Eta Sigma Gamma; the second featured experience is with Sigma Kappa sorority; the third presented experience is with the Ronald McDonald House; and, the fourth included experience is with Metcalfe Elementary School. Each service engagement experience shaped who I am and influenced my thoughts on the opportunities that health education, behavior changes, and health promotion can provide for the community.

The final section of my portfolio is the Conclusion. This section summarizes the experiences highlighted in my honors portfolio. Additionally, this section provides a succinct summary of my time at the University of Florida.
